The BNP Chess Parking (also known as Chess Parking) combines puzzle-style sliding platforms with an intelligent shuttle and lift. Like pieces on a chessboard, pallets shift horizontally and vertically to route any vehicle to the exit with the minimum number of moves.

This makes it one of the most space-efficient fully automated systems available — packing 4 to 10+ levels into a compact footprint with no wasted ramp or aisle space. It is ideal for residential towers, hospitals, and mixed-use developments that need high density without a large structural envelope.

A 2,400 mm platform width comfortably accommodates SUVs, while PLC control, 2,500 kg pallets, and comprehensive safety make it dependable for round-the-clock use.

How It Works

   Vehicles are parked on individual pallets arranged in a dense grid.

   A combination of shuttle and lift shifts pallets horizontally and vertically.

   The PLC calculates the shortest sequence of moves — like solving a sliding puzzle.

   Empty spaces in the grid allow pallets to reshuffle and clear a path to the exit.

   The requested vehicle is delivered to the entry/exit cabin, typically in 80–240 seconds.
